Terence Stamp. 1960’s. appreciation post.
“The young Michael Caine was a joy to be with. We had lots of wonderful times. I’m sure he wasn’t trying to educate me, but he did. I was very new to showbiz, and he was a whole era older than me and had been in the business a lot. He knew a lot of practical, day-to-day things about the business, and I was like a sponge at the time. He was the first guy who gave me pointers about the artistic life.”
- Terence Stamp about Michael Caine and the time when they shared a flat in the 1960s
